Why is your Anti-freeze the one to use rather than the slightly lower dollar RV anti-freeze found other places...??
For many many years the CampOut Team has been using trusting and selling a Camco product our product number #C30770. It remains to be a leader in the industry over "other competitors" for several reasons.
>>- Freeze Ban to -50 (burst protection rating) most are -40
>>-Save for use in brass, copper and ALL types of plastics (except acetate, used for packing and printing)
>>- Versatility with RV, Boat, home, pool applications.
>>- NON-TOXIC
>>- No alcohol base, likely the big one, it has a pleasant non threatening smell, "others" leave a residue of alcohol smell, both present and after the fact for days weeks and perhaps always embedding its self in the plastic.
>>- Its in the propylene glycol based family
>>- Inhibits fouling, corrosion and prevents algae growth
>>- Largely lubricates pumps, valves seals through out a system (alcohol based dries up seals)
Why if its really cold out does your anti-freeze gel or slush....??
Consulting Camco Manufacturing this is normal for propylene glycol-based antifreeze to "slush" or form semi solid formation not freezing or damaging to components. This is also listed on the side of the label.
